I worked with Project [Blank], a San Diego-based arts nonprofit, to refresh their branding, focusing on accessibility, warmth, and vibrancy. Using the 'fill-in-the-blank' concept, I incorporated the bracket motif as a key graphic element while refining the logo’s off-white tone and selecting a softer, brighter color palette. The typography was streamlined with bold sans-serif headers and neutral body text for clarity.
To elevate the brand, I integrated illustration, collage, and hand-drawn elements, creating a unique, creative edge. The refreshed design was applied across touchpoints, including their responsive website, motion design, and social media campaigns. I also developed brand guidelines to ensure consistency, aligning the branding with the nonprofit's mission of bringing art and culture to the community.
Website. Branding. Guidelines. Illustration. Motion. Social.
