I was brought on to oversee the creative direction for Other Minds, a San Francisco-based music organization dedicated to promoting experimental music. Tasked with delivering a bold, graphic design approach, I began by promoting a concert with pianist Adam Tendler, followed by creating the identity for their 28th annual festival.
My designs embraced modern, impactful visuals that reflected the organization’s avant-garde ethos. I created a range of promotional materials, including programs, posters, social media campaigns, and ads, all of which formed a cohesive brand presence. Central to the design were illustrations and collages, adding texture and energy. The branding pushed the visual identity forward while honoring Other Minds’ legacy, helping the organization maintain its position as a leading voice in contemporary music.
